Douar-neizh

A poetry collection originally written in Breton, Douar-Neizh explores the connection to the Earth, poems imbued with nature, relationships with others, identity and difference, taboos surrounding languages, indigenous peoples, a love of the world’s cultural biodiversity, and also the pain of losing an ancestral way of life. Poems filled with emotion, like a spectrum of colors between sky and earth in search of self…

With cohesion as the watchword, it is the result of the participation of more than 25 artists: 15 readers, 8 guests, 5 musicians, 1 illustrator, and many others who contributed their work to this project.

The project is available in two versions: Terre, ce nid (Terre, this nest) in Breton, and Land as my nest (Land as my nest) in English. You can learn more about the Douar-Neizh project on the dedicated website.

Cradle of my Heart

Váimmu Vuohttume is a trilingual poetry book in Sámi, French, and Breton. Although written from a Sámi perspective, the poems are universal: humans are described in their fragility and their difficulty in being themselves, touching on their irrational, subtle, and incomprehensible side.

It is also about healing: the healing of a cultural hegemony whose repercussions remind us that there is a place for everyone here. Children of the Earth, we are all a fragment of a star whose soul originates in the cradle of the heart.
